TagMaster has supplied RFID products for the driverless rubber-tire light rail vehicles on the Neihu Line in Taipei. The TagMaster system provides accurate positioning to the CITYFLO650 automatic train control system from Bombardier. As the vehicle must know its location at all times, the RFID system provides the absolute location to the control system. This is especially important at stations where the vehicle has to stop at an exact position to align with the station platform doors.
