The RailTag Programmer is a device used for programming a 2.45 GHz heavy duty tag for rail applications. The tag is electrically programmable with up to 48 bits of user-defined data. This data is typically containing information about tag identity and/or tag location, and is passed on to a CBTC system, a system for displaying passenger information, or any other system requiring such information
The RailTag Programmer is controlled by a host computer with host application software (included). The Programmer supports the Open32 format which allows the user to program any 32-bit sequence as RailTag mark. The Programmer is connected to the host computer via a USB port.
