As you may be aware, the NIS2 Directive (Network and Information Security Directive 2) marks a significant step forward in strengthening cybersecurity regulations across the European Union. Although the NIS2 Directive does not apply to UK businesses directly, if you are operating in the EU, you will be required to be compliant.

In the UK, organisations are to be guided by the National Cyber Security Centre’s (NCSC) Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF). The UK will not be implementing EU NIS2, but is planning its own NIS changes which are expected in 2024.
