Traffic flow and parking access control were simplified at 30 Norwegian airports by installing CitySync’s ANPR cameras in cooperation with APCOA Parking Norway.
400 ANPR cameras were deployed in order to ditigalise the traffic flow at entry and exit points of numerous airport parking facilities, enabling ticketless, free flow parking areas.
There were high demands on system functionality, as many of the airports ar located along the coastline of Norway, with rough weather conditions and the North Sea almost hitting the runways. The project catered for multifaceted solutions, with many different car parks being used for several purposes.
